Day 3 Behold, the New Has Come

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." 2 Corinthians 5:17

Reflection:
Notice the tense. Scripture doesn't say the new will come someday, once you've cleaned yourself up enough to deserve it. It says the new has come. It's already here. Already true. Already yours.

That means today isn't about waiting for a future version of yourself to finally arrive — it's about recognizing the new creation that's already standing in your shoes. The patience, the peace, the courage, the love you don't feel like you have yet? In Christ, the seed of it is already planted. Your job isn't to manufacture it. It's to walk in it.

Reflection Question:
Where in your life are you still waiting for the "new" to show up, when God says it's already here? What would it look like to act today as the new creation you already are, instead of the old one you used to be?

Prayer:
Lord, thank You that the new has already come — not someday, but now. Forgive me for living like I'm still waiting on what You've already given me. Teach me to walk today as who You say I already am.
